Juniper House Bed & Breakfast Terms and Conditions

 

Breakfast

7 – 9.30am, but it would be helpful if you would give us a guideline on your preferred time.

(Earlier “serve yourself” breakfast times are available by arrangement)

 

Check-Out

By 11 am, but you may leave your luggage for collection later (by arrangement)

 

Damage

In the event of damage to the property, its fixture & furnishings, including spillage or undue soiling, the guest will be responsible for the cost of one of the following, as appropriate in our judgement:-

  1. Repair
  2. Replacement
  3. Professional Cleaning

Food & Drink

Guests are requested NOT to bring in & consume HOT “takeaway” meals on the premises.
For other take away food, & drink, guests are asked to request plates, cutlery & napkins from us.

Keys

Booking/Key deposit is refundable on their return at end of stay. If the front door key is not returned, guests will be liable, in addition, for the locksmith’s charge for changing the front door lock.

Noise

Since the ambience of Juniper House is one of peace & relaxation, guests are asked to cooperate, please, by not playing loud music or TV, & turning ring tones of mobile phones low, particularly overnight.

 

Parking

Cars may be parked in the drive, for loading or unloading for up to 1 hour. Overnight parking, by arrangement, for a fee of £10 pr night, but only on the basis that keys are deposited with us when guests are out to allow repositioning.

No responsibility is accepted for loss or damage.

There is free parking available in the road outside the house.

 

Payment

Full payment is due on arrival, after inspection of the room

The following forms of payment are accepted:

  1. Cash, £ Sterling or Euros (at the day’s exchange rate)
  2. Electronic (Internet) direct Bank transfers
  3. Paypal (+ 4% commission payable by Guest)
  4. Cheques on UK bank accounts, are only acceptable if full payment is received at least 4 days prior to commencement of visit

 

Cancellations

The booking deposit will be refunded if a cancellation is received over 21 days before the date of the stay. After that, it will be retained.

 

Pets

Although animal-lovers, we regret we cannot accommodate pets

 

Smoking

No Smoking – in house

 

Termination Policy

In the event of significant anti-social behaviour, which could upset others, a guest’s contract could have to be terminated “with immediate effect”. Under these circumstances a refund for the remainder of the stay would not be allowed.
